Casablanca is the largest city in the Maghreb. It has a population of 3 million people and it’s regarded as the economic and industrial capital of Morocco, while Rabat is the political capital.

The most known places in Casablanca are the Ville Nouvelle (New Town), a replica of the French period of Morocco; the Hassan II Mosque, designed by Michel Pinseau and the
Parc de la Ligue Arabe (formally called Lyautey), which is the largest green area in the city.
